The Commerce + Ecosystems engineering team (C+E) develops Microsoft’s large scale and business-critical backbone services to empower e-commerce for Microsoft products and services, including Azure, Office 365, Microsoft 365, Xbox, Microsoft Online Store, Bing Ads and Windows 10 Store.

As part of Microsoft’s C+E Division, the Commerce Customer Engagement & Enablement (CCEE) team engages and supports our customers in order to help us ensure we are always delivering world class Commerce experiences that land value across the board. As part of the CCEE team, you will be engaged with professionals spanning technical program management, development to customer support escalation specialists and work closely with customers of all sizes and types to help drive success and global impact.

As a strategic program manager, you will be responsible for defining success and strategy across our most strategic commerce initiatives and driving business excellence across the CCEE team to ensure our collective success.

As a Strategic Program Manager your responsibilities will flex across the following core responsibilities as needed:

  • Lead and land strategic commerce initiatives with aligned results that delight our customers and land with predictable and aligned success metrics

  • Drive cross company collaboration and alignment on customer and engineering imperatives

  • Drive customer priorities with urgency and in partnership with various teams across Microsoft

Proven Experience

  • Established ability to drive for results through influencing & leading others in delivery of a solution.

  • Established planning & organization skills with experience managing a diverse portfolio of projects.

  • Established experience at quickly adapting to market conditions and business needs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Established complex program management skills

  • Established analytical capabilities that achieve practical results.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, MBA or equivalent)

  • 8+ years of successful strategy development, ecommerce, business, finance or consulting experience
