The Microsoft Federal Customer Success team is looking for a Transition Change lead to support the executive office. This senior level role will report to the Chief of Staff and will be responsible for the successful launch of a multi-phase evolution into the Federal Government Operating Environment (FGOE). In Customer Success we are investing in a new system and process environment that enable Microsoft Federal to proactively address evolving federal security standards. We are changing the way we operate to align to our customer’s expectations. We listen to our customers, learn from their experiences and champion their feedback to the engineering teams to help customers achieve their business outcomes. Our team delivers world-class Cloud Services to maximize customer potential and drive Cloud adoption.

We are looking for a Change lead to orchestrate the transition of our business into the Microsoft FGOE with new tools and processes designed to support our Federal customers. If you have extensive experience managing change, including alignment of business priorities to new programs, driving process efficiencies, and leading through transformation, this is the role for you!

As the Transition/Change Lead, you will drive system, process and behavioral changes for the Federal Customer Success organization by leading the strategy, planning and execution of change management for the new tools in parallel with the engagement model with Microsoft Corporate. You will also Lead the evolution of the business through simplification activities by means of interaction with internal teams including Sales, Consulting, Delivery, Operations and field audiences.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Change Strategy and Execution: Effective Change management for the End to End Systems, process and behavioral changes for the Federal tools launch.

  • Using proven Prosci ®, ADKAR methodology, standard process, and templates, you will develop customized change management strategies.

  • Coordinate across multiple teams to facilitate capture of detailed change data for all impacted audiences.

  • Deploy methods to protect our current business from disruption by mitigating all risks to business continuity.

  • Monitor and review change adoption and implement resistant migration and reinforcement strategies.

  • Collaboration: Engage with field partners to gain insight into pain points and feedback to facilitate discussion to feed into process and tool improvement initiatives. Partner with your key stakeholders in HQ, Sales, Consulting, Reactive Support, operations leadership and other field focused teams to drive changes in the Federal Customer Success organization.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build relationships and collaborate with business partners across the entire company. Ensure that business issues, concerns and priorities are well understood. Know Customer Success goals and related CCE roadmaps to mitigate risks and propose viable solution for field teams.

  • Framework and Standards: work with the Change Management Office (CMO) to establish and evolve solid frameworks and standard for change management. Build and maintain the communications and organizational change management framework including guidelines that the team will provide to drive consistency in approach and elevate capability.

Qualifications

Experiences Required - Education, Key Experiences, Knowledge and Skills:

  • 8+ years program management experience in an enterprise level environment.

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving ability with the ability to develop insightful observations that can be used to optimize the performance of the business.

  • Broad experience across Microsoft contributing toward enablement of Microsoft Services tools and processes executing a strategy impacting revenue, consumption, and delivery excellence.

  • Experience and familiarity with Services systems, processes, and tools used by Federal Services.

  • A demonstrable track record of working in a matrixed environment building strong relationships that support positive business outcomes.

  • A track record of understanding and identifying blockers and working across business groups to influence decisions that move the business forward.

  • Experience managing and leading complex multi-disciplined virtual teams both directly and remotely.

  • Demonstrated strong program/project management of operational programs in both Federal and/or US based teams.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage ambiguity.

  • Thought-leader with excellent verbal, written, and visualization communication skills

Other:

Federal Industry experience preferred

The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.

The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.

Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
