Job Description
We have a Pharmacy Technician opening in our Mount Prospect facility, where you will be able to excel in a complex, high impact customer service role that positively impacts the lives of others. In this role you will be responsible for performing the daily functions of filling prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. As a Pharmacy Technician you will also be cross-trained in other functions such as automated drug dispensing. This also includes the loading of automated dispensing machines, verification, and packaging.
This is a 2nd shift position and second shift operates from Sunday from 2:00pm to 12:30am and Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 1:30am. Actual work days and hours to be determined based on staffing and volume and confirmed at the time when an offer is presented to a qualified candidate.

Required Qualifications
Regular and predictable attendance
Colleague will be required to work mandatory overtime/extended work week when needed
Colleague will be required to travel when needed
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 40 pounds
Willingness to apply for a pharmacy technician license before first day of employment
Preferred Qualifications
-Prior pharmacy technician experience
-Pharmacy technician certification
