Job Summary
The Dominion Energy Services Financial and Business Services group is looking for a dynamic intern who will assist in the development and maintenance of budget, forecast and monthly close activities. May also assist in development and monitoring of corporate strategy and other special projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Candidates must have an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 either overall or within major
In pursuit of a bachelor's degree from a 4 year institution, preferences held to disciplines in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics
Demonstrable interest in finance and a desire to gain practical finance experience
No experience in energy or related industries is required
Understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data
Excellent quantitative skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Solid working knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications especially Excel
