  • Understand Computer system architecture

  • Programming in C or C++ Experience in kernel level device drivers

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with power management and control theory is a plus but not required

Description

The GPU Software Kernel/Firmware Team needs a system software engineer to analyze, design and build Kernel and Firmware drivers for the GPU. As a key member of our team, you will apply your knowledge of low-level system architecture to help the design and delivery of features in memory management, power management, asynchronous command processing and error concealment for a wide variety of applications from games to machine learning, to image processing. You will partner with a premier team in integrating the kernel and firmware into the graphics platform to maximize the graphic and compute potential for Apple products on iOS and macOS. We are seeking a results-oriented, upbeat and focused individual with a passion to learn and succeed.

Education & Experience

Technical BS/MS degree or equivalent years of experience
