Cascade Summit Montessori School, established in 1999, inspires children 18 months through Kindergarten to learn through discovery!
We are looking for individuals who thrive working in a team environment and that are looking for the opportunity to experience the joy of gently guiding the daily experiences of children in an authentic Montessori community.
Substitute teachers may receive calls on the day of, or the request may be scheduled many days or weeks in advance.
The Montessori Method of Education, developed by Maria Montessori, is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children. Montessori programs offer a unique, mixed-age classroom environment, for children approximately 3 to 5 years old. Children engage in individual learning experiences, as well as one-on-one interactions, which are integral to the Montessori Method.
Our Head of School and Education Manager are MACTE-accredited, certified Directresses, ensuring a depth of quality Montessori support for our faculty, families and students. Our caring, experienced faculty members provide rich educational experiences for each child while guiding them through the Montessori classroom at the child’s individual pace. Our teachers collaborate and support each other as they celebrate each child’s daily achievements. Training and on-going professional development is provided for all teachers to advance in knowledge and roles.
