Job Description

The Microsoft Identity Division is searching for a Senior Program Manager with deep customer empathy, a passion for design, and a strong desire to learn.

In our deeply connected world, consumers and enterprises alike turn to Microsoft’s identity division to give them secure, convenient, and trustworthy access to their most critical data. Millions of customers interact with Microsoft services each day, and having a friction-free and beautiful experience for signing in and signing up for the cool stuff we build is critical to their happiness and Microsoft’s success.

In this role, you would be responsible for the front door for Microsoft. You would build new capabilities and support infrastructure improvements in Identity’s consumer and enterprise sign-in and sign-up experiences, partnering with teams across Microsoft to deliver features which drive customer satisfaction and business results for our partners. This is a solidly senior level role in its scope and opportunity for impact.

There is a lot of cross-company collaboration, so you’ll need to love this kind of work and be proficient at creating and maintaining positive, productive relationships. There will be many opportunities to experiment, learn, and apply a growth mindset. Since this role is about how customers interact with the world of Microsoft, having a history of building great user experiences and using data and analytics to improve upon them will serve you well. Since you’ll be working on a UX platform that spans a broad set of concerns both inside and outside of Microsoft, the most important skill for this job is the ability to manage and prioritize complex – and sometimes conflicting – requirements while building and maintaining trust with customers and partners alike.

The Microsoft Identity team is a fun, inclusive, and collaborative community who are committed to working closely with customers and each other. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our customers so we can deeply understand their requirements and deliver solutions that not only satisfy their needs but exceed their expectations. We also build these same relationships within our team, and are looking for people who are just eager to collaborate within our group as they are externally.

If this sounds like an environment you’ll thrive in, we’d love to hear from you! #IdentityJobs
